Former Kaizer Chiefs striker Sibusiso ‘Spoko’ Dlamini has joined Malanti Chiefs as their assistant coach.
Dlamini joins the Northern Hhohho side and will be assisting Ray Dlamini who has been at the helm since the return of football.
He was part of the Bafana Bemboyi bench during their 0-1 loss against Mbabane Highlanders on Wednesday.
Malanti Chiefs manager Mandla Maduna confirmed the news to Eswatini publication Swazi Observer.
“I am happy to announce the addition of one of Eswatini’s upcoming coaches and local legend Sibusiso ‘Spoko’ Dlamini to our ranks. He will work with the coach and the players and we are happy to have him join us,” he said.
Dlamini once had a brief stint with the club during the 2012/13 season after his return from South Africa.
Malanti Chiefs is currently perched at the basement of the league table with four points in 12 matches.
