Simo Mbhele: We are gunning for promotion play offs

KwaZulu-Natal (KZN) academy graduate Simo ‘Scara’ Mbhele took some time out of a hectic schedule as the season nears an end to update FARPost about how things have been going for him at Portuguese third tier side Sertanense as they push for promotion for next season.

“Everything has been going very well this season I’m a regular first team player playing every week as we push to get into the promotion play off sport for next season, “Mbhelo told FARPost.

“We are gunning for promotion play offs and we are currently third on the log so we stand a good chance of going through should we continue with the momentum going to the last 10 games of the season.”

The 22-year-old attacking midfielder also explained how hard he has worked so far this season saying ” I’ve been working very very hard even doing extra training to improve and I’ve been pushing myself to the limit so its good to see the hard work paying off, “said Mbhele

“I have been working very hard, even doing extra training to improve.”

The remaining 10 games will be very vital for ‘Scara’ and his team as they will determine their fate for next season.

This weekend, they will look to bounce back to winning ways after their loss against Sibusiso Shibane’s Agueda in the League on Sunday when they take on Caldas S.C.
