TEDE United Brothers FC coach Sibusiso Sithole didn’t hold back any punches after his side lost 3-0 to Spear of the Nation in the ABC Motsepe Eastern Cape League match at Mount Ayliff Stadium on Wednesday.
TUBS find themselves at the bottom of stream A group after nine games and they have been enduring a tough season thus far.
Coach Sibusiso Sithole revealed to FARPost that he does not have experienced campaigners to take the team out of danger zone, therefore he is looking to get few players to bolster his squad.
“What I know is that we have to find some experienced players, who have been there and done this (playing in the ABC Motsepe League) before.”
“Now it seems as if I’ve got so many young and immature players if I can call it that way. So I need experienced players and there are certain players that we have identified to come and help us.”
“I think comining to our home game and other games, I think it’s going to be different. We are all trying to fix the situation ( languishing in the relegation zone), what I know is that I can feel we’ll move away from there, it’s just a matter of time,” said Sithole.
The coach further revealed that his team succumbed to pressure exerted to them by their opponents, who did not allow them any space and ball possession.
“It normally happens to any player, if you are under pressure and the result does not go your way sometimes you switch off. But I’m trying my best to make them believe in themselves so that we can play our normal carpet football,” concluded Sithole.
TUBS will next host Swartkop Valley United Brothers FC who are also fighting relegation at Bisho Stadium on 1 May 2021 at 15:00.
