Spurs announce new technical team, Paulse resigns

Following the departure of head coach Ian Taylor, Nathan Paulse has since decided to step down from his duties as Cape Town Spurs assistant coach.

Paulse joined the Cape Town-based outfit as the assistant coach to Taylor earlier this year in February.

The Urban Warriors confirmed the news on Tuesday morning on their socials.

“We thank Nathan for his contribution and commitment over the last few months,” said Ikamva in a statement.

The side is currently placed 13th on the GladAfrica Championship log standings with 29 points after 25 games.

Meanwhile, Dylan Deane has been appointed as the club’s new head coach.

He will be assisted by former Bafana Bafana defender, Nasief Morris.

Spurs are scrambling to avoid finishing on the bottom of the log with five games to go as the race to stay in the GladAfrica Championship is reaching a tense finale.
