Tottenham Hotspur have confirmed the appointment of interim coach Ryan Mason following the departure of Jose Mourinho.

Mourinho was sacked by Tottenham on Monday after 17 months in charge, six days before the Carabao Cup final against Manchester City.

Mason will be joined by Chris Powell and Nigel Gibbs as Interim assistant head coaches and Michel Vorm as Interim goalkeeping coach.

Ledley King will continue in his role as first team assistant.

Mason, who is 29-years old, retired from playing in 2018 after suffering a fractured skull and has been working with the club’s academy.

He took first-team training on Monday following Mourinho’s departure.
