Stellenbosch FC have confirmed the departure of veteran defender Morgan Gould after a one-year stint at the club.
The former Bafana Bafana international joined the Absa Premiership rookies on a free transfer from SuperSport United prior to the start of the current campaign and despite his experience, struggled for game time as the 37-year-old only made 11 appearances for the Western Cape-based side.
In a statement released on Tuesday, Stellenbosch said: “We would like to take this opportunity to thank Morgan Gould for his phenomenal service to the club, on and off the pitch.
