Stellenbosch have announced the signing of Nigeria youth international Ibraheem Jabaar.
Jabaar joins ‘Stellies’ from Ijebu United but his new club didn’t reveal the length of the contract.
The 18-year-old is the second Nigerian to pen a deal with Stellenbosch as he joins countryman in former Enyimba star Stanley Dimgba at the club.
The left-footed winger starred for Nigeria at the Fifa U17 World Cup in Brazil and Africa Cup of Nations (Afcon U17). He will wear jersey number 27 at ‘Stellies’.
“The club is excited to announce the signing of this young Nigerian international who puts pen to paper with Stellenbosch FC. Welcome Ibraheem Jabaar,” said Stellies in a brief statement on Tuesday.
Jabaar has two goals in nine youth matches for Nigeria.
He joins the team after playing in the 2019 FIFA U17 World Cup held in Brazil, where Nigeria were knocked out by the Netherlands in the last round of 16. https://t.co/ywxmtY9TPz
