TS Galaxy president Tim Sukazi says new coach Mabhuti Khenyeza will be in charge of the team on the weekend despite AmaZulu’s complaint.
According to recent media reports Usuthu will not allow their former assistant coach to start his new job at the Mpumalanga province based side, and have vowed to take legal action against the former striker if he doesn’t buy himself out of his contract.
Sukazi says they will not stop utilizing Khenyeza as the matter is between him and the KwaZulu Natal club.
On Sunday, ‘The Rockets’ will host neighbours TS Sporting at Kameelrivier Stadium, where Khenyeza is expected to make his coaching debut in the GladAfrica Championship.
“The matter is between him and AmaZulu.” Sukazi told FARPost.
“I just hope they’ll find each other on it soon. There is no reason why we shouldn’t use him.”
Asked if he was not concerned that using Khenyeza might land the club in hot water, Sukazi replied, “As it has become known publicly his contract with AmaZulu has been terminated by the parties.”
