Sundowns must pay for Kekana to stay

Mamelodi Sundowns captain Hlompho Kekana is yet to sign a new contract with the club.

Kekana’s existing deal with the 2018/19 Absa Premiership Champions is set to expire in June.

FARPost.co.za has been alerted that the hold-up in the Kekana contract situation is caused by the financial figures that have been bandied about during the negotiations.

Kekana and Sundowns have been involved in an ongoing negotiation for a new contract for some time now.

He’s believed to be happy at Sundowns, however the opportunity of landing one final big pay move in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) could entice him to sign a new contract elsewhere.
