A total of 121 goals have been scored in the first five weeks of the new Hollywoodbets Super League season with First Touch Ladies and Mamelodi Sundowns remaining as the only two sides yet to taste defeat in the 14-team league.
According to the South African Football Association (Safa), the popularity of the Super league has seen the viewership numbers on SABC skyrocket to close to 2 million per match.
Defending champions Sundowns Ladies went to the top of the log standings after hammering Thunderbirds from the Eastern Cape 4-1 while First Touch moved to second after securing a late equaliser against the University of the Western Cape in a match that ended in a 1-1 draw.

Newcomers JVW fought hard against Tshwane University of Technology but were full value of their ultimate 2 -0 win over the Pretoria-based students.
Ma-Indies FC were the biggest winners of the weekend by walloping Tsunami Queens 5-1 while the University of Johannesburg suffered their second loss of the season against Golden Ladies FC, who beat them 1-0 away from home.
Richmond United, who started the season on a good note, lost their second match 2-3 against Bloemfontein Celtic while struggling Durban Ladies lost their fifth consecutive match 2-1 to Coal City Wizards.
