It’s match day four and five in the Malawi Super League and a few teams will be looking to continue their good form from the first few games while others will be fighting to get their campaign back on track after a slow start in the 2020/21 campaign.

AZAM TIGERS vs MZUNI

SATURDAY, 19 DECEMBER

14:00 PM (SA TIME)

Last weekend Azam Tigers narrowly won 1-0 at home against Blue Eagles and a win against Mzuni will see them win back-to-back games in the division. They have lost two of their first three games and only won one game so far.

KAMUZU BARACKS vs BE FORWARD WANDERERS

SATURDAY, 19 DECEMBER

14:30 PM (SA TIME)

Barracks has a game in hand having only played two games so far this season and on Saturday they will be looking to get back to winning ways after their 5-1 defeat against Silver Strikers away from home. The club has three points from the first two games and sit in 12th spot in the Super League table.

SILVER STRIKERS vs KUFC

SATURDAY, 19 DECEMBER

14:30 PM (SA TIME)

Strikers recently signed Frank Banda on a two-year deal and the experience of the 29-year-old might come in handy when they host KUFC on Saturday afternoon. The home side is full of confidence after avoiding defeat in their last two league games.

The hosts go into the game with four points from their opening three games of the season.

NYASA BULLETS vs MOYALE BARRACKS

SATURDAY, 19 DECEMBER

14:30 PM (SA TIME)

Bullets showed their resilience when they came back from two goals down to level matters last weekend against log leaders Red Lions. The Malawian giants will be looking to put Barracks to the sword when they face them on Saturday in much better weather conditions.

The hosts have five points so far from their first four league games.

RED LIONS vs CHITIPA UNITED

SUNDAY, 20 DECEMBER

14:30 PM (SA TIME)

Last weekend Lions let a two-goal lead slip through their fingers against Nyasa Bullets in the league, which is a big worrying point for the coach and technical staff, but regardless of the result the hosts still sit top of the table with eight points from four games.

The visitors on the other hand have been struggling to hit the right gears having only gotten a single point from their opening two games.
