The SA Football Association has confirmed that the Task Team that was established by the Joint Liaison Committee has completed its work and is expected to table its report at the JLC meeting.
The meeting is scheduled to take place on Monday, June 1.
The team comprised of SAFA and Premier Soccer League and was tasked to make recommendations on when and under what circumstances can football restart.
“The report of the Task Team will be tabled for consideration by the JLC at its next meeting in light of the Covid-19 and our Government’s regulations under the Disaster Management Act,” said Task Team chair, Poobie Govindasamy.
“The JLC will make an announcement on this matter in due course which is subject to the law in the circumstances prevailing in our country at this moment in time,” added Govindasamy.
