Bafana Bafana international Percy Tau finally scored for Club Brugge, while another Bafana player Kamohelo Mokotjo helped Brentford go into a play off spot in a weekend of mixed results for our boys abroad.

KAMOHELO MOKOTJO

Brentford have only lost one game when Mokotjo has started a game and this was the case on Saturday when he played the whole game in the London derby against Fulham as Brentford ran out 2-1 winners on the day with the general controlling the midfield for Brentford in a very tough encounter. This result moves Brentford to 4th on the table which means they are in pole position for a play off spot should they keep doing well in the league.

PERCY TAU

The SA attacker is probably the player of the weekend as the striker ended his drought in great style with a goal and an assist on Sunday night as Club Brugge won 3-0 against new boys KV Mechelen in the Jupiler league. Tau has scored four in all competitions this season, accompanied by 7 assists.

LYLE FOSTER

Lyle Foster and Cercle Brugge’s woes continued in the Belgian top division as they fell to a 3-0 defeat against Charleroi on Sunday to remain bottom of the log in the division. The striker came on just after 30 minutes.

BONGANI ZUNGU

He was brought on in the 72nd minute to stabilise the midfield for Amiens as they drew against Dijon in Ligue 1.

LUTHER SINGH

The SA youth international played yet another solid 90 minutes for his side Moreirense as they won 2-1 against Belenenses in the league on Sunday evening which takes them to 11th on the log in Portugal.

THABO CELE

The midfielder was a late substitute for Cova Di Piedade as they were thumped 4-1 by Academica in the league to remain bottom of the log with just 7 points.

KOBAMELO KODISANG

Kodisang will be happy to have returned to the field yesterday after he made a late appearance for Braga B in their narrow 1-0 loss against Merelinense in the Portuguese third tier.

MIHLALI MAYAMBELA

Mayambela made a cameo appearance for SC Farense as they stretched their lead at the top of the log with a 1-0 win against Feirense on Sunday afternoon. Mayambela has been rested for the past few games to avoid fatigue as he has been one of the key players for his side this season.

BRADLEY CROSS

Cross lasted the whole game for Schalke U19 as they narrowly lost 1-0 against Mainz U19 in the league in Germany. Cross has been a regular for Schalke this season at the back as he continues to grow.

SYLIAN MOKONO

Sylian Mokono lasted the whole game for Jong FC Utrecht as they drew 2-2 with FC Eindhoven in the second division in Netherlands.
