AC Milan are three points behind log leaders Juventus after a narrow 1-0 win against Hellas Verona on Saturday afternoon.
Refiloe Jane was given yet another start for the Milan club and played a solid 90 minutes.

JERMAINE SEOPOSENWE

After a historic 3-1 Portuguese Cup triumph against SL Benfica last Tuesday, SC Braga finished the week with a 2-0 league victory against Maritimo on Sunday afternoon in Portugal.

South African attacking midfielder Jermaine Seoposenwe played the whole game and won her second Women of the Match award in five days to complete a perfect week.

KOBAMELO KODISANG

Kodisang’s red-hot form continued in Portugal as he helped SC Braga B defeat GD Braganca 1-0 with yet another goal in 2021.
The 21-year-old scored the only goal of the match and took his tally of the season to six goals and five assists.

SIBUSISO SHIBANE

KZN academy graduate Sibusiso Shibane played the entire 90 minutes for Agueda as they beat Vila Cortez 1-0 at home in the Campeonato de Portugal on Sunday afternoon. The striker continues to search for his 5th goal of the season and his first of the new year.

PERCY TAU

The Lion of Judah got his second English Premier League appearance of the season for Brighton and Hove Albion as they got three important points away at Leeds United on Saturday. Neal Maupay’s first half strike was enough to give the Seagulls a 1-0 victory at Elland Road.

Tau came off the bench after 73 minutes as Potter deployed him as a lone striker.

ETHAN CHISLETT

Chislett got his 18th League One start, but couldn’t help AFC Wimbledon avoid a 3-0 loss against Sunderland on Saturday afternoon.

NKANYISO SHINGA

After returning from an injury that sidelined him for three weeks, Netshitangani returned in fine style for FC Malaga City as he scored a beautiful strike in additional time from outside the box to salvage a draw against FUE in the Spanish 4th division.

GIFT LINKS

As the Danish Superliga nears its return to action after the winter break, AGF Aarhus has begun preparations for the league by lining up a few club friendlies. Last Friday the Danish club drew 2-2 against Viborg. Gift Links played the last 17 minutes of the game.
