SuperSport United head coach Kaitano Tembo coach was left impressed by Guilly Manziba who made his Matsatsantsa debut in a 2-0 win over Bidvest Wits at Mbombela Stadium in a League clash on Saturday night.
The new signing was involved in Matsatsantsa’s second goal as he was brought down inside the box with the referee pointing to the spot. Bradley Grobler converted.
The Congolese midfielder played for the entire 90 minutes putting in a good shift.
“I thought he [Manziba] played very well and there is still a lot to come from him,” said Tembo.
“The game here [in South Africa] is a bit different, it is a little bit quick and his also got pace.
“And later on in the game you should see that the legs were a little bit gone but I think once he gets match fit and get used to the pace of the game here, I think he still has a lot to offer,” concluded the SuperSport mentor.
Manziba joined the Tshwane based side during the January window period from Zambian giants Zanaco.
Matsatsantsa’s next match is against Highlands Park at Makhulong Stadium in Tembisa on Sunday afternoon. Kickoff is at 15:30.
