SuperSport United coach Kaitano Tembo admits he’s expecting a tough encounter against Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) in a DStv Premiership clash at the Thohoyandou Stadium on Sunday.
The kick-off is set for 3:30 in the afternoon.
“Another tough game, it is always a difficult place to go to and playing at three o’clock [3:30 pm] in the afternoon in the heat,” Tembo told Matsatsantsa’s official website.
“It becomes a little bit difficult for the players. But I think we will recover and refresh and make sure that we go there with the right mentality.”
The Tshwane-based outfit mentor went on to say that they go into this game with so much respect for their opponent as they will be gunning for win to move up the table to avoid the relegation zone.
“We need fresh legs. It is what we are going to need,” he added.
Meanwhile, TTM’s head coach Joel Masutha revealed that lack of consistency when selecting his starting line-up has costed his side.
“We are trying. But every match or every week, we are bringing in players, and you need consistency,” says Masutha.
“If you check our last five games this year, there are a lot of changes. Also, you need that understanding among your defenders.
“So I think that is our main undoing. We will soldier on, and we will try to rectify it.”
It will be for the will first-ever the two sides meet in the South African football top division.
