As reported by this publication a few weeks ago South African U-23 captain Tercious Malepe has been officially unveiled by his new club FC Minaj In Ukraine after joining the club on a three-year-deal.
Malepe was nurtured at Orlando Pirates before being loaned out to Moroka Swallows, Ajax Cape Town and Chippa United where he recently played 40 league games in the past two seasons.
The defender comes with a wealth of international experience having played for South Africa at the 2017 U-20 AFCON, U-20 World Cup and the 2019 U-23 AFCON played in Egypt where he led South Africa to Olympic qualification.
The 23-year-old will be joining a host of U-23 internationals plying their trade abroad with the likes of Lyle Foster (Vitoria Guimaraes, Portugal), Luther Singh (Pacos Ferreira, Portugal), Gift Links (AGF Aarhus, Denmark), Khanya Leshabela (Leicester City, England), Liam Jordan(HB Koge, Denmark), Kobamelo Kodisang (Braga, Portugal).
The above-mentioned players are all contracted to European clubs across the continent.
