After International break, the GladAfrica Championship will return to action today.

League leaders Uthongathi will host Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila at the Princess Magogo Stadium where they will be looking to open up an eight-point advantage at the top of the table, which even at this stage of the campaign would be a sizeable lead in their bid for automatic promotion to the Absa Premiership.

Uthongathi are currently in top form. They’ve lost only one of their 10 league matches to date. The Cane Cutters are currently leading the table with 25 points.

Kick off for the Uthongathi and Tshakhuma clash is at 15:30 today.

After their 2-2 draw against Royal Eagles last Sunday, TS Galaxy who were representing South Africa in the CAF Confederation Cup before being knocked out 4-1 on aggregate score by Nigeria’s outfit Enyimba FC, will host Richards Bay at Kameelrivier Stadium, also at 15:30.

The Rockets are now from three draws in a row. They drew 1-1 with JDR Stars, 3-3 vs Steenberg and 2-2 with Royal Eagles.

The third game sees second-bottom side Jomo Cosmos host bottom side Royal Eagles at Olen Park Stadium as both sides desperately seek a win to ease and stay away from the relegation zone.
