Polokwane City coach Clinton Larsen is not concerned about the current league position which see them languish at the bottom of the Absa Premiership.
Larsen has won one out of the three matches that he has been in charge since taking over from Zlatko Krmpotic in December 2019.
But Rise and Shine have been having a poor run in the League which has seen them lose 11 out of their last 12 League matches.
“We were not number last on Saturday before the match so the League is going to change every single week. The table changes week by week, positions change week by week so for us it is not about where we are right now, we have a target to get to 30 points as soon as we can,” said Larsen.
“So it’s not about where we are on the table, for me that means absolutely nothing. There is absolutely nothing with the morale, the players are in high spirits they are training well even before we beat Chippa we were bottom of the table and the morale was high and that’s the environment the coaches and the technical team here have created for the players.”
City will host Golden Arrows in their next League match on Sunday, January 19.
