Baroka coach Dylan Kerr wants to close the points gap between them and Bloemfontein Celtic when the two teams meet at Dr. Molemela Stadium this afternoon (15:30).
Siwelele are 10th and 3 places above Bakgaga who are also 5 points behind.
A win for Baroka will take them a place apart while their Free State opponents can jump to 9th position with a win and increase their chances of a top 8 finish.
“They are only 5 points in front of us so there is not much difference between Bloemfontein Celtic and Baroka in the League standings a far as points are concerned,” Kerr told FARpost.
“So we get points there we get one or three points there then we have a good opportunity to close the gap on them and there are some tough fixtures around us so it’s important that we just focus on what we going to do and how we are going to do it,” he added.
Baroka will be without Malawian striker Richard Mbulu, above, who is still serving his red card suspension while Celtic will also be without Tshepo Rikhotso and Siphelele Luthuli who are also serving suspensions.
