This is the most difficult NFD season – Masutha

Real Kings head coach Joel Masutha believes this season’s championship will only be decided on the last day of the GladAfrica Championship.

According to ‘Moporofita’ who promoted Black Leopards back to the Absa Premiership a few years ago, people must expect a lot of twist and turns in the upcoming few games.

“I think the next six games will be very, very crucial for all the teams that are contesting. So I think after six games we will be able to tell which three teams will still be up there. I think the most consistent team… but I still believe there will be three teams waiting fighting for it,” said Masutha.

“There are still too many games to say who is gonna do what. This is the most difficult season…look, teams are well prepared you know.

“If you check the coaches have worked very, very hard so that’s why today this one wins a game, then tomorrow they lose another. A team can have a good run in four games and all of a sudden the other one also shows up. It goes towards what the coaches have done in terms of preparing their teams,” added Masutha.

Ajax Cape Town are currently on top of the log with 38 points in 19 matches, closely followed by second-placed Uthongathi on 35 points.
