The 21-year-old forward has established himself as one of the key members of the new generation under the guidance of coach Hugo Broos.

Makgopa scored his third international goal as Bafana Bafana defeated the Walias 3-1 in the first game last Saturday. The striker scored a brace on his debut in June before netting the decisive goal last weekend.

At club level, he has scored two DStv Premiership goals and assisted another strike in five appearances for Baroka.

THABISO KUTUMELA

Kutumela was a menace for Bafana Bafana in the away win last weekend.

Although he did not find the back of the net on the day, the attacker was one of the outstanding performers giving the Ethiopian defenders a lot of problems in the final third.

Having recently joined reigning champions Mamelodi Sundowns, the 28-year-old has scored a goal and assisted another strike in four league appearances for the Brazilians.

He has scored two international goals since making his international debut in 2016.

MOTHOBI MVALA

One of the most hard-working players in the current group, Mvala has been an ever-present figure since the arrival of the Belgian mentor.

The Mamelodi Sundowns anchor has played in all three World Cup qualifiers for the Cosafa nation so far.

He scored the second goal when the South Africans defeated the East Africans 3-1 in match day three.
