Mamelodi Sundowns will face yet another KwaZulu Natal team in the form of Maritzburg United on Wednesday at Loftus Stadium at 15:00.
The Brazilians have managed two draws against title-challenging KZN teams, AmaZulu and Golden Arrows recently.
This time they will face the Team of Choice who are fighting to move away from the relegation zone, having gone eight matches unbeaten in the league.
Maritzburg United left winger Tehogo Tlolane is aware of the threat posed by the log leaders and he reckons his side are better prepared.
He told FARPost that they are aware of their capabilities as a team, going to the Sundowns game.
“Obviously in the first round we got a draw, but in football anything is possible, we take nothing away from the opponents we play.
“We have to respect them, but when it comes to football it’s what you do on the day and we gonna go there fully focused,” he said.
“We also know what we can achieve in a game and our capabilities. We just have to believe in ourselves to be honest and give it our all and we’ll see in 90 minutes, we only have 90 minutes, we’ll give our all,” emphasized Tlolane.
The former Orlando Pirates player further reiterated the magnitude of the match and the quality of players they will face.
“We know it’s a very big game, especially coming up against such a big team with such good players, but we know what we have to do.”
