This weekend’s action will see all the struggling teams in the relegation zone take on the top 3 sides that are fighting to clinch the inaugural Safa National Women’s League. (SNWL).
Richmond Ladies who are rooted at the bottom of the log will have their backs against the wall as they host second-placed Tshwane University of Technology Ladies (TUT) at the Umziwabantu Stadium in Northern Cape, Britstown on Saturday, kickoff at 15:00.
Richmond have only managed to register 2 wins in 15 matches and are one of the only two teams who are yet to reach double figures in terms of points with 6 along with Tsumani Queens on 7.
The Red Machines have only lost once, as a result it will come as a huge shock if Richmond manage to beat TUT Ladies.
Tsumani Queens, second from the bottom of the log will travel to Tshwane to face the high flying and unbeaten Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies who are at the summit of the SNWL. The game will be televised on SABC 1 on Sunday from the Lucas Moripe Stadium in Attridgeville.
Bloemfontein Celtic will take on Thunderbirds Ladies at the Jan Smuts Stadium on Saturday, kickoff at 15:00.
Celtic Ladies in 3rd place on the log are favourites to win against the Thunderbirds who are 3rd from the bottom of the SNWL log standings.
In other fixtures, Durban Ladies will host Coal City Wizards at the SJ Smith Stadium on Saturday. Kickoff at 15:00.
A win away from home will see Wizards in 4th place close the gap on Celtic to only 3 points.
Golden Ladies will be up against the University of Johannesburg Ladies (UJ) on Saturday at the Montshiwa Stadium, kickoff at 15:00.
First Touch Academy will play against the University of Western Cape (UWC) at the Seshego Stadium on Saturday, kickoff at 15:00. Only 4 points separates the two sides with First Touch in 5th spot on 23 points and UWC with 19 points in 7th place.
