Swallows head coach Brandon Truter is wary of a disciplined SuperSport United side, but he is optimistic that his men can secure a victory in Tshwane.
The two sides will meet on Saturday evening in a DStv Premiership clash at the Lucas Moripe Stadium and Truter is anticipating a tough clash against a SuperSport outfit on a nine-match unbeaten run in the league.
The ‘Dube Birds’ showed great character to come from behind to hold the Premiership champions Mamelodi Sundowns to a 1-1 draw away last weekend to remain unbeaten in their return to the top-flight.
Meanwhile, ‘Matsatsantsa’ beat Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) 2-0 in their last game. As a result, the Tshwane giants are joint second with Swallows on the league standings – three points behind leaders Sundowns.
“Another big one for us here at the Lucas Moripe Stadium, it is going to be a tough game. SuperSport has discipline, [they] are organised structurally,” Truter said.
“They have power up front and power at the back to counter any tactics. It’s a team that grinds out results as well so it’s going to be an interesting game.
“We will have to prepare for the match astutely,” concluded the Swallows mentor.
