TS Galaxy sign young Cosmos keeper Buthelezi

TS Galaxy boss Tim Sukazi believes their new signing Melusi Buthelezi will be a great asset to the GladAfrica Championship side.

The 22-year-old former Jomo Cosmos goalkeeper signed a three-year contract with ‘The Rockets’ just before Youth Day, on Monday, June 15.

Buthelezi parted ways with ‘Ezenkosi’ by mutual agreement after spending two years at the club.

According to Galaxy, Buthelezi, who hails from Nquthu in KwaZulu Natal brings healthy competition to the goalkeeping division, something that will give coach Mabhuti Khenyeza an exciting variety of options come the resumption of football.

“Joining a club like TS Galaxy is something I do not take for granted. This is one of the fastest growing clubs in the country and to be a part of such a team is a great honour,”- Buthelezi. Picture: Twitter Melusi Buthelezi.

“I am looking forward to working hard with the players, coaching staff and management in ensuring that the club soars to even greater heights” added the lanky shot-stopper.

“TS Galaxy Football Club would like to welcome Melusi Buthelezi. We believe that he will be a great asset to us and will gel well with the current squad and the vision of the club” said Sukazi.
