‘The Rockets’ have sent out a stern warning to the public to be aware of a scam making rounds, as someone is impersonating to be the club’s President in order to export money from the public.
The person in turn states that there are going to be trials taking place at the club and those that are interested need to fork out a certain amount of money.
The Mpumalanga-based outfit statement reads as follows:
“TS Galaxy wishes to state categorically that our President Tim Sukazi doesn’t own any Facebook account.
“The club is cognizant of someone who is using a fake account and scamming the masses across the country.
“Mr. Sukazi is only active on Instagram and Twitter not on Facebook but there is someone who is calling himself Tim Sukazi on Facebook and that account is fake.
“Please do not attempt to deposit any amount of money in pursuit of getting an opportunity to do trials at the club.
“At this stage, we don’t have any planned trials. If we intend on conducting trials, we will update that on the club’s official social media platforms and website. Furthermore, players who are staying at our clubhouse do not pay any money as mentioned in that fake Facebook account.
“We advise that you don’t fall for this scammer on Facebook.”
