TS Sporting manager apologises to the PSL

TS Sporting general manager Vusi Ntimane has unreservedly apologised to the Premier Soccer League (PSL) following his six months ban from football.

“I would like to apologise to the PSL, its sponsors, TS Sporting, football fans and SAFA (SA Football Association) for my misconduct and bringing the game into disrepute,” Ntimane said.

Vusi Ntimane will serve three months, because half the ban is suspended.

“I accept my punishment as I deserve the 6 months ban for my unsporting behavior.”

In the press release, the League said, “Mr Ntimane was found guilty of misconduct in abusing, harassing and throwing the contents of an energy drink bottle at match official Mr Akho Ndzingo”.

This happened during the GladAfrica Championship fixture between TS Sporting and University of Pretoria at Tuks Stadium on November 2.
