Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) have clarified the earlier confirmation that Dylan Kerr has stepped down as an ‘advisor’ to the technical team.
Daily Sun reported on Sunday that Kerr tendered his resignation on Friday night citing dissatisfaction with certain clauses on his contract.
The publication quoted the club’s Media officer Rufus Matsena confirming the departure of the Maltese born coach.
But FARPost can confirm that Kerr is still very much a part of the club and was in charge of the proceedings on Monday and Tuesday.
Matsena has also confirmed that there was a suggestion that he might have got somebody who promised him a full-time job.
“Yes, he is still advising the team, but remember as I aluded earlier on he is not our coach, but his role is to advise the team. So, most people believe he is an employee of TTM. What he suggested earlier on he said no, he wouldn’t be part of TTM in terms of advising. Then the question was that is it because he got somebody promising him a full-time job or what? However, we didn’t get answers until he said the idea of him leaving the club to advise or coach other teams he is reversing it. Subsequent to that he even called the chairman to try to clarify that matter himself,” said Matsena.
“Currently he is still with the team, as and when he sees fit depending on his programme.”
