Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila have been dealt a huge blow after yet another resignation by a head coach 10 matches into the new season.

Dutch-born coach Erol Akbay who was only appointed last month by the GladAfrica Championship side tendered his resignation on Tuesday, allegedly citing interference and unprofessionalism within the club.

Akbay’s predecessor Moma Medic also left the club under a dark cloud following a fallout with the club management, 4 games into the season.

Moma Medic, left, has since joined Royal Eagles.

A source within Tshakhuma has confirmed to FARPost.co.za that the 52-year-old has called it quits at Vhadau Vha Damani.

“Yes, he is not here anymore he was not pleased with how things were going (interference) so he decided to resign. So, we will hear from them (management) on the way forward on who is the new coach,” states the source.

When contacted for a comment TTM CEO Sello Chokoe could only say, “No Comment”.

Akbay was on the bench for three games; 3-1 win over JDR Stars, 3-1 win over Royal Eagles and the 1-0 defeat by TS Sporting.

He allegedly left the bench citing interference in the match against TS Sporting.
