Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila new owner Simon Malatjie has confirmed that the club has finalised the appointed well-travelled coach Johnny Ferreira to take over the reins.
The new owners are preparing for a take over as of next season after buying the status from Masala Mulaudzi, who is now the new owner of an Absa Premiership status.
The Premier Soccer League has also ratified the sale of the Vhembe based status, which will called Sekhukhune FC as of next season.
“Let me first send my gratitude to the PSL, they (ratified) our application last week Sunday, so I can confidently say we have been approved and ready to run,” Malatjie told SABC Radio PhalaPhala FM.
“The team we bought is going to change from TTM and be called Sekhukhune Football Club after we have completed these six remaining games. We have our technical director, Alex Bapela who has been in football for more than 2 decades and we recently employed head coach Mr. Johnny Ferreira who is going to take over and make sure that things are happening under the leadership of Mr. Bapela,” said Malatjie
“The message is very clear and simple that the team has arrived home in Sekhukhune so as a result our wish is to see us working together across the breath and the land of the Province to ensure that social cohesion is equivalent so we are going to start our base at home (Sekhukhune).
Before the appointment of Ferreira, the club had earmarked former Black Leopards coach Joel Masutha as well as former TS Galaxy coach Dan Malesela to take over.
