Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) have terminated the contract of striker Rhulani Manzini following a disciplinary hearing held in Polokwane on Tuesday.
This comes after Manzini was found guilty of misconduct following a physical fight in training with teammate Alfred Ndengane earlier this month.
The pair was suspended and both charged for misconduct.
Following the hearing which was also attended by the South African Football players Union (SAFPU), Ndengane was given a final warning while Manzini was shown the door with immediate effect.
“I would like to confirm that from the DC held yesterday at the TTM offices that Mr Rhulani Manzini who is our striker is no more part of the team as he was found guilty of misconduct,” club media officer Rufus Matsena confirmed.
“The misconduct was an assault on his teammate Alfred Ndengane. Mr Ndengane as well was acquitted but with a final warning so we as the team want to send a strong message to all the players out there that no amount of misconduct, especially violent conduct will be tolerated within the team,” he said.
