This afternoon, Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila (TTM) have the chance to move away from the relegation zone when they take on Baroka FC at Peter Mokaba Stadium in a Dstv Premiership clash.
The game is set to kick-off at 15:00.
TTM have threatened the Premier Soccer League’s top clubs time and time again this campaign, and have pieces in place to cause an upset for Bakgaga.
In preparation for the much-awaited Limpopo derby, FARPost takes a look at three of Vhadau Vha Damani’s important players and how Dylan Kerr’s troops can counter the threat they pose.
3. Washington Arubi
Arubi has been steady but underwhelming since he had joined Vhadau Vha Damani at the beginning of the season. It goes without saying that the former SuperSport United goalkeeper remains one of the finest shot-stoppers in the Dstv Premiership League. The Zimbabwean international has seven clean sheets from 25 league matches. The 35-year-old goal minder brings a calming influence to TTM’s defence and has a good command of his 18-yard box. He recently helped the side to a Nedbank Cup glory.
2. Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo
Having more importance, value and skill, power to terrorize defenders and score goals – one can finally say Ndlondlo is a key player for TTM. He is the glue that nits the Limpopo-based side in the midfield moving forward. If he adds more goals like the one in their previous league clash against Maritzburg United, he will be some player. Many believe he already is. The gifted midfielder has participated in 13 league games and scoring one goal in the 2020/21 season.
1. Thabo Rakhale
Age shows no signs of slowing the right-winger down – Rakhale, 31, is a hustler and shows terrific intelligence in games. The midfielder shoulders responsibility, and he rarely disappoints as he has featured in 20 league encounters and contributed three goals in the process.
