Tunisian player diagnosed with COVID-19

Tunisian center forward Omar Zekri has announced that he has been diagnosed with COVID-19 along with several members of his family.

Zekri announced on his Facebook page that him and other family members tested positive for COVID-19.

The former Etoile du Sahel player also assured that he is in good health and will remain isolated for the next two weeks.

To date football personalities who have confirmed being infected by the coronavirus pandemic include:

Paulo Dybala (Juventus)

Kozo Tashima (Japanese Football Association)

Blaise Matuidi (Juventus)

Daniele Rugani (Juventus)

Mikel Arteta (Arsenal)

Callum Hudson-Odoi (Chelsea)

Dusan Vlahovic (Fiorentina)

Marouane Fellaini (Chinese Super League)

Five players and the team doctor from Italian club Sampdoria have also tested positive while Spanish football club Deportivo Alaves also announced 15 positive coronavirus cases, three players from the first team, as well as seven coaching staff members.
