Kaizer Chiefs have reached the next stage of the Caf Champions League after a goalless draw against Bamenda on Saturday night.
The two sides battled it out at FNB Stadium and Chiefs won 1-0 on aggregate. Chiefs will play Primeiro de Agosto from Angola in the next round of the competition.
From there, it’ll be the group stage.
Chiefs, however, will have to do some introspection if they are to progress further in this competition. Bamenda only arrived in SA just a few hours before kick off and were there for the taking.
Chiefs failed to take advantage and will be disappointed to have failed to score on their home turf.
The 1-0 aggregate scoreline is a result of their win away from home, courtesy of a goal by Eric Mathoho.
