Polokwane City coach Clinton Larsen feels goalkeepers George Chigova and Cyril Chibwe have been vital for the team this season, even in games that they lost.
Chigova has played more matches (15) with 3 clean sheets than Chibwe (8) with 2 cleans sheets in the current season.
Both bring some international experience from their Zambia and Zimbabwe national teams respectively.
“We all know Chibwe is a quality player and we are very lucky as a club to have goalkeepers of the calibres of Chibwe and Chigova you know,” said Larsen.
“They are both pushing each other at training and you can see it in their performances when they both play even in game where we have lost our goalkeepers have been outstanding so we are very fortunate to have”
There has been reports that both keepers are on the wanted list of some of the clubs based in Gauteng though both players remain mum on the reports.
