Black Leopards head coach Lehlohonolo Seema insists they will fight until the last match of the season to stay in the premier division.
Leopards are languishing at the bottom of the DStv Premiership with eight matches remaining and in serious trouble of a third relegation in the club’s history.
A 1-0 defeat by Swallows in Dobsonville on Sunday meant that Lidoda Duvha remain with 13 points, four behind second from bottom Chippa United.
“We are not throwing in the towel. We will keep on soldiering on,” said Seema after the match.
“There are a lot of positives that we can get from this game and we came up against a very good team and yeah we will soldier on.
“We came here to win the match and I cannot fault them for the fight and the way we started the match. If we can fight like this I am sure we can get two or three wins along the way. It is always difficult to pick them up after we fought like this and they have nothing to show,” he said.
Leopards’ remaining eight matches will be against Stellenbosch (H), SuperSport United (H), TTM (A), Orlando Pirates (A), Kaizer Chiefs (H), Chippa United (A), Cape Town City (A) and Bloemfontein Celtic (H).
