Toni Kroos says Germany don’t have any reason to hide themselves in the 2020 European Championship as they are made up of a quality squad.
The tournament is set to take the centre stage this evening with Turkey facing Italy in the opening day of the competition.
Germany are drawn in the group of death (Group G) alongside France, Hungary and Portugal.
“We don’t have any reason to hide ourselves. We have a very talented squad, just like France do,” said Kroos.
“We’ll have to see what happens in the end. We’re not concerned with who is considered to be the favourite going in.”
The side will lock horns with the World Cup winners France in their first game of the tournament on Tuesday, 15 June at Allianz Arena with the kick-off set for 21:00.
