Black Leopards travel to Cape Town Stadium tonight to take on Cape Town City knowing that maximum points will go a long way in helping them get out of the relegation zone.
Lidoda Duvha are 14th while the Citizens are 12th with just 3 points separating the 2 teams. Leopards boost a poor away record with just a single win in the 8 matches they have played.
But one player who has been a pillar in the Leopards defence, Edwin Gyimah has vowed to keep fighting until the current situation changes.
“Sometimes in football things won’t go your way but we will keep fighting as a team and we will try and make sure we get ourselves out of that position,” Gyimah told FARPost.co.za.
The 28-year-old also spoke on the impact of coach Cavin Johnson.
“Yeah each and every coach who comes you need to adapt quickly and when Cavin Johnson came he had his own style of play.
“The position we are in is not safe but we were able adapt to his style so I think it’s a good sign because we play so well and creating chances so it’s just that at the back we need to be more careful.”
The fixture between Leopards and City will start at 20:00.
In the other Absa Premiership match tonight, SuperSport United will take on Chippa United at Lucas Moripe Stadium, also at 20:00.
