With only 4 games left in the regular season in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League Lyle Foster’s Cercle Brugge have a big task ahead of them if they are to survive relegation to the Proximus League.
Brugge have had a terrible season so far which has led to them spending most of the season rock bottom of the log standings in the League but over the past two match days, the Brugge based outfit has suddenly turned things around winning two games consecutive encounters.
Rooted at the bottom of the log with 17 points, Brugge are 4 points behind Waasland Bevere and KV Oostende and there are only 4 games left to play.
Brugge simply need to win two of their remaining games to stand any chance of survival depending how the other results go in the other games.
With confirmation that Lyle Foster will possibly extend his loan spell with the club should they survive the 19-year-old will be hoping to help his club get the desired results.
In the Jupiler Pro League, only the bottom team gets automatically relegated from the top flight and Cercle Brugge’s new resurgence will hopefully help them to continue getting the desired results to remain in the top flight next season because all their hopes remain in their hands and it’s a simple case of just winning at least two of their remaining games and survival is guaranteed.
