Hlompho Kekana’s new 4-year deal with Mamelodi Sundowns should come as no surprise to those that have been watching the man in action over the years.

Kekana’s new deal was confirmed on Thursday and ends speculation about his future.

Some believe it’s his loyalty to the club that has seen him rewarded, but the statistics show that it’s in fact his contribution in terms of on the field.

As captain of the ‘Brazilians’, he’s got an even bigger role to play.
