Bidvest Wits have finally announced the signing of Cameroonian striker Bienvenu Eva Nga from Mozambican outfit Costa Do Sol.

Eva Nga, who scored 24 goals to help Costa Da Sol win their 10th Mozambique Premier League title, has impressed Wits head coach Gavin Hunt and has already started training with the first team.

The man from Cameroon was signed to replace the injured Simon Murray who is expected to remain on the sidelines for a couple of months after suffering a long-term knee injury.

As reported by FARPost.co.za back in December, Eva Nga will not be able to play for the Clever Boys in the CAF Confederation Cup, because he’s cup-tied since he played for Costa Do Sol in the ongoing African club competition but is eligible for selection for the Students in the Absa Premiership.
