Zambia Women national team captain Barbra Banda believes the Copper Queens are drawn in a fair Tokyo Olympics group.
Zambia were on Wednesday drawn in Group F alongside Brazil, Netherlands, and China.
Banda is optimistic the team will be ready by July as they are putting in a lot of work in preparations.
“All the groups and all the teams are tough, It is just a fair draw. We were expecting anything from the draws, we definitely have to meet all the teams that are there,” said Banda as quoted by ZamFoot.
“The preparations are going well, we are still in camp, we shaping up. We are working on one or two things that we are lacking and everyone is pushing hard,”
“I believe the team will be ready, we have time to prepare, We have to prepare adequately and work on areas we are lacking in,” she added.
The Olympics will officially run between 24 July and 9 August 2021.
