Defending champions Zesco United will face their Ndola archrivals and main League title contenders Forest Rangers in the 2020 ABSA Cup quarterfinals.

The draw is one of four derbies in this seasons ABSA Cup last 8 that kick-off next weekend with two doubleheaders on March 21 and 22 at Nkoloma Stadium in Lusaka.

This will be the record six-time ABSA Cup winners Zesco’s second ever meeting against  the currently League leaders.

Zesco beat Forest at the same stage 4-2 post-match penalties after a 2-2 in the 2008 edition in what was the latter’s only other ABSA Cup appearance.

They will meet in the 15h00 kickoff at Nkoloma Stadium on March 21.

In the other ABSA Cup quarterfinal derby match up on the same date, Kabwe Warriors take on Napsa Stars in a Midlands derby in a lunchtime kickoff at the same venue.

On March 22, Nkana will face Kitwe United in the 15h00 kickoff while sister club’s Green Eagles and Young Green Eagles meet in the lunchtime kickoff.

The semifinals are set for May 9 at Arthur Davies Stadium in Kitwe while the final will be held on June 13 at National Heroes Stadium in Lusaka.
