Chipolopolo head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic will hold his first training camp this week since his appointment a week ago.

Micho has summoned 63 home-based players for a two-day training camp in Ndola that will run from February 10-11 at Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.

Players are drawn from Copperbelt and Kabwe sides while another camp for Lusaka-based players will follow next week as part of Chipolopolo’s pre 2020 CHAN tournament preparations.

The list is vast and includes players from the second tier including a shock debut call-up for promotion chasers Kitwe United ‘s veteran defender Moses Lolozi.

2019 COSAFA U20 Cup Player of the Tournament and Nkana midfielder Patrick Gondwe is also part of the get together with his fellow Zambia U20 gold medal winner and striker Jonathan Munalula of second tier side Roan United.

Zesco defenders Mwila Phiri and Clement Mwape including Power Dynamos goalkeeper Justin Kakunta and striker Fredrick Mulambia are some of the notable topflight players heading for Micho’s first day at training.

But the list does not include Nkana midfielder Kelvin Mubanga who is serving a club suspension following a bust-up at training in midweek with teammate Obedy Masumbuko.
