Zambian star wins big award in Tanzania

One of Africa’s biggest talents Clatous Chama has been named the best player in the Tanzanian Premier League.

Clad in a blue suit, with a white shirt, the Zambian international, who turns out for champions Simba, was on hand to collect his award.

“What a night. I thank God first and foremost for his abundant glory, my family for pushing me to become a responsible father and husband and most importantly to my fellow players who pass the ball to me and to whom I pass the ball to,” Chama said.

“And finally to you my lovely fans, my lovely club Simba and to everyone who makes football the most beautiful game of them all. Emerging as both the Midfielder of the Year and League’s MVP in a single night was overwhelming and I would like to thank you all. I ♥️ you all,” he added.

In response, the club’s fans want Chama to stay on and responded in hundreds on his tweets, urging him to remain with the club, with one going as far as saying Chama should sign for 4 more years.
