Zambian club ZESCO United have confirmed that second choice goalkeeper, Toaster Nsabata and left back Mwila Phiri will be joining DStv Premiership side Sekhukhune United.
The nine times Zambia Premier League Champions revealed on their website that they have reached an agreement with the Tembisa-based club for the two players.
Nsabata joined ZESCO from ZANACO in December last year after penning a 3-year contract with the Ndola-based league giants.
Phiri, on the other hand, ended his two-year and eight months stay at the club.
“ZESCO United goalkeeper, Toaster Nsabata has joined South African Premier League promoted side Sekhukhune football club after the former reached an agreement with the Zambian Super League champions,” the club said on Wednesday.
“ZESCO United have further released club left back Mwila Phiri with the latter having remained with two months on his contract. Phiri has since joined Nsabata at Sekhukhune football club ending his two years and eight months stay at ZESCO United,” they added.
Club Chief Executive Officer, Richard Kabwe Mulenga has thanked the two players for their contribution to the club.
