Zimbabwean players celebrate Independence Day

Some of the Zimbabwean players who plying their trade in the Premier Soccer League took to social media to celebrate their countries Independence Day.

Zimbabwe today officially celebrate its 40 years of independence from British Colonisers.

Warriors players such as Willard Katsande, Khama Billiat, George Chigova, Erick Chipeta and Talent Chawapiwa took to social media to celebrate with their fellow country Men and Women.

The country was called Rhodesia but renamed to Zimbabwe, translated to ‘Houses of stones’.

The country’s main languages are Shona, spoken by roughly 70% of the population, and Ndebele, spoken by roughly 20% but some of the languages include official languages include Chewa, Chibarwe, English, Kalanga, Nambya, Shangani, Sotho, Tonga, Tswana and Tshivenda.
