“I want to see myself in the Absa Premiership one day playing for Mamelodi Sundowns”, these are the words of Zizwe United attacking midfielder Tebogo Moleta.
“Although my favourite player is Thembinkosi Lorch but I would like to play for Sundowns. I want to play in the Absa Premiership and my dream is to play for Sundowns – I see myself playing the same role as Gastón Sirino, “added Moleta.
Moleta also said that he enjoys working with coach Julius Dube and playing for the Western Cape ABC Motsepe side Zizwe.
“I enjoy playing for Zizwe as my coach makes it easy for us players and helps in building self-confidence.”
The 26-year-old mentioned that growing up in the Free State was tough as he didn’t have many opportunities compared to Cape Town.
“Cape Town is different from Bloemfontein in terms of opportunities – with several clubs that are in Absa Premiership and GladAfrica Championship, makes it more comfortable to be here, “said Moleta.
The former Bloemfontein Celtic player walked away with the man of the match award during Zizwe’s 1-0 defeat to Happy Wanderers in the Nedbank Cup last 32 at Athlone Stadium last Tuesday.
Zizwe are currently sitting comfortably on top of ABC Motsepe League in the Western Cape with 34 points after 14 games.
Moleta who joined the Cape-based side this season believes with his talent he’s going places. He has scored six goals with six assists this season.
“With the kind of help and support the coach is giving me, I believe I can make it to top football,” said the Bloemfontein born midfielder.
