Zungu returns for Amiens

There were wins for Linda Motlhalo, Lars Veldwijk and Lebo Moloto while Bongani Zungu made a return. FARPost wraps up this weekend’s action from our players abroad.

LUTHER SINGH

The Stars of Africa graduate started on the left wing for Pacos de Ferreira as they fell to a 2-0 defeat at home against giants Sporting Lisbon in the Primeira Liga. The defeat leaves Ferreira with a point from their two opening games.

PERCY TAU

Bafana Bafana striker Percy Tau played yet another 90 minutes for Belgian giants Anderlecht as they allowed Knowledge Musona’s Kas Eupen to bounce back to equalize in the dying minutes of the game which ended 1-1. The draw leaves Anderlecht 5th on the log with 13 points after 7 games played.

RICARDO SCHUTTE

The striker who is on loan from Rio Ave started and played 90 minutes for Spanish second tier side CD Mirandes as they claimed a 2-1 win away at Tenerife in the Spanish Segunda Liga.

KGAOGELO CHAUKE

The 17-year-old got back into the starting XI for Southampton’s U-23 as they drew 2-2 against West Ham United in the English Premier League 2.

Chauke played the entire game for the ‘young saints’ as they got a hard-earned point.

LINDA MOTLHALO

The former Houston Dash midfielder started and lasted the entire 90 minutes for Djurgaden DFF as they drew 1-1 away at Vittsjo in the Swedish Damallsveskan on Sunday.

BANTU MZWAKALI

The midfielder started and was substituted in the second half for Swedish Supperetan side IK Brage as they fell to a 2-1 defeat at home against Osters. The defeat sees Brage drop to 7th spot on the log with 29 points earned in the 20 games played so far.

LEBO MOLOTO

Moloto got another start lasting 83 minutes for FC Tulsa as they narrowly defeated San Antonio 1-0 in the USL Championship.

Moloto has featured in 13 games scoring a single goal and assisting a further striker so far in the USA’s second tier.

GEORGE LEBESE

The winger played yet another 90 minutes for USL Championship side Colorado Springs Switchbacks as they drew 1-1 against Real Monarchs in the USL Championship encounter.

BONGANI ZUNGU

After months of speculation it seems like Zungu has committed his future to Amiens as he made his return to action for the club in their draw against Pau on Saturday coming on as a second half substitute for Amiens in a 0-0 stalemate.

PULE EKSTEIN

Ekstein lasted the whole game as Sabali defeated his former club Sabah 2-1 in the Azerbaijan Premier League.

LARS VELDWIJK

Veldwijk started and played the whole game for South Korean second tier side Suwon FC as they narrowly defeated Seoul E-land 1-0 in the K League 2. This is Veldwijk’s third goal of the season for Suwon as it seems he has found his scoring boots.

DINO NDLOVU

The former Bloemfontein Celtic striker came on as a second half substitute for Hangzou Greentown as they defeated Shenyang Urban 1-0 in the Chinese second division.

MAY MAHLANGU

Former Bafana Bafana midfielder May Mahlangu came on after 63 minutes for Ordabasy as they claimed a 1-0 win over Kyzlzhar in the Kazakhstan Premier League.
